The Practice

Situated in the centre of the market town of Cardigan, Optegydd Prichard-Cowburn Opticians is a Welsh speaking optical practice offering a high quality service that is becoming hard to find. Founded in 1961 by Mr Dewi Jones the practice has developed considerably since the Pritchard - Cowburn partnership was established. A key factor in the growth of the practice is the investment of £200k in new equipment and facilities in 2001. These include a new modern on site laboratory with the latest lens making technology, normally only associated with the large national opticians. Our new field-screening technology that is used by most eye hospitals will offer you a high quality sight test. Constant investment is required to meet our patients expectations of high standards of health care.

We pride ourselves in offering a caring and professional service to all our customers. Our trained staff are friendly and helpful and will assist with any questions about your eye care. It is this commitment to the patient that has made Pritchard-Cowburn so popular for local people and regular visitors to Wales.

The progress that has come through hard work has been visible with the opening of a practice in Narberth and then in 2007 in the new health centre in Pembroke Dock
